Fifty years ago, there was a top secret experimental project; testing the nature of an newly found energy source, unknown to the rest of the world. Consequently, the experiment went terribly wrong causing an incredible explosion. This explosion of energy caused a colossal continent to split into two. The Continent that was spited flowed into the ocean, with the energy itself forming a barrier around it. This barrier blocked people form the outside world, causing them to be stuck on the continent. However, there was a side effect to the energy; the energy it's self gave humans incredible capabilities based on each person's personality or "Mindset". The energy was then called Mind-Space. With the great power given to them by the mysterious essence of mind-space, different ideas on how co-existence began to arise on how people should live with these new found abilities. Soon these ideas became philosophies that conflicted with other ways of thinking. The constant conflict disagreements between ways of thinking soon gave birth to the struggle for dominance. As the struggle continued multiple organizations and gangs based on the philosophies that brought them together, were formed in the midst of the fighting. A young man, part of a nomadic group of his own, is fighting on the run from the struggle.
Ice is an interesting element, it can create various objects as well as freeze others. However, its possibilities are limited by the user him or herself, as it relies heavily on one's own mental power in order to be fully utilized. Ice can shape itself into physical forms, such as shield, swords, etc. if the user can completely visualize the weapon or object's form, down to every last detail, into one's head. Then, the user freezes the nearby air to create the object they visualized. This is good for two reasons. One, it allows one to make ice forms out of anything one imagines, and two, it prevents the user from accidentally using his powers out of rage or fear (such as getting ticked off and creating a sword to kill people, since this requires thought about the weapon's dimensions instead of pure instincts). However, the downside to this is the fact that though ice is powerful enough to manifest into anything, the user must have a calm and collected mind in order to process the objects they want to create. If an ice user is pissed off or cannot think rationally, they can barely create anything useful because their mind is too preoccupied to think of something clearly. Also, trying to create ice forms while not in the mental state to do so can be seriously deadly. There exists a phenomenon called Misdirection, which occurs when a user, who cannot create an ice form in his or her current state, tries hard to force it into existence and ends up damaging the creative processes in the user's brain. Though such misdirected forms may end up working, they come at a problematic toll. Too much misdirection can cause a user to have weakened powers, mental disabilities, insanity, and even death where the user's brain turns into ice (talk about a brain freeze) and cracks. Even though Misdirection affects the brain primarily, it can be apparent in the user's body (for instance, one will have a bluish arm or leg, etc.).
The reason why an ice user can only create simple objects out of ice such as swords and shields but not weapons such as guns is because you need to visualize every aspect in order to create a successful ice form. Swords and shields have simple structures and are thus easy to make, however, guns have an inner mechanism to fire as well as a certain form within the gun. Though it is technically possible to create a gun out of ice, it takes too long and too much energy to make it, so its really bad to use in the middle of battle. The easier an ice form is to recreate in one's head, the less energy and faster time it takes to make it (That is why most of Hyou's shields are simply squares of ice rather then intricate ones). Some of the best ice-based mindspace users can make full sets of armor out of ice, or even a human figure or gigantic dragon. However, since ice cannot be animated, they can only serve for decorative purposes or as distractions. Even though ice may have its up and downs, it can be more powerful then the other elements in long and less-intensive battles where time and strategy means anything. But in fast paced battles where instinct dominates everything, using ice can be very disadvantageous, though with enough concentration one can stand up to even the most effective fast paced mindset elements, fire.

Description: An adventurous 17-year old kid who was unknowingly caught in the conflict along with his friend and rival, Kenichi. Known by many as the "Man with the Will of Fire", he doesn't hesitate to take apart his foes if it means saving the ones he cares for. Along with straightforward tactics such as direct attacks and bursts of fire, he also employs quick and cunning strategies to keep his foes off guard, using the properties of the fire he emits to his advantage. Most people may call him reckless at first sight, and some may even think he is simply a battle-crazed individual. However, those who know him well simply say this: "Danyl is a friend, a fighter, and the one who will kick your ass".
Though his fire is primarily red, his flames turn a bright blue when he is very angry or emotional, striking fear in his enemies and allowing him to burn through most objects with relative ease. He is also able to change the properties of his fire using the environment around him to adapt to certain situations.
Danyl usually wears blue hoodies or jackets, with a white trim along the sides and a dark blue cap on his head. On his back is the faint outlining of what appears to be a phoenix, and his blue and white shoes and denim jeans seem to match the rest of his casual yet stylish outfit.
Moveset:
Flaming Fist - Concentrating a large amount of fire energy into one or both of his hands, Danyl launches a direct punch at his foe that can send them flying at burn them at the same time. The power behind the impact can even launch his enemy for quite a distance, proving to be useful in situations where speed is the most important.
Fire Shot - Clamping both hands tightly together, Danyl creates an intense heat that combusts into a flame, which he controls into a ball of fire within one of his hands and throws towards his enemy. The flaming ball explodes upon impact, setting anyone it hits on fire. Danyl can also physically hit his enemy with it, which gives it a higher power then throwing it.
Inferno Wheel - Generating a spinning wheel of flames around his right arm, Danyl can either roll it across the ground and burn through his enemies, or use it as a shield that can spin away and deflect most incoming attacks, and burning those who try to attack it physically. The longer it is used, the more energy is lost in the process.
Ignition Kick - Danyl does a powerful roundhouse kick or dropkick on his enemies while his feet are imbued with fire. The kick can cause enemies to explode, and can be very self destructive if not used properly. The user can be hurt occasionally upon usage of his move, however, if used at the right time, it can finish off enemies with an intense power.
Rebirth Flames - These flames, which are a shade of yellow rather then orange, do not hurt anyone except the user's enemies. Instead, it heals them to a good extent by relieving most of the pain caused by physical injuries. It can only be used a few times, since it uses the power of ones spirit to activate. He can even convert normal fire into Rebirth Flames.
Third Degree Blade - A powerful sword made completely out of flame. Unlike Kenichi's sword, this sword is not solid and can disappear and reappear at the user's will. As the name implies, it leaves nasty burns on his target and has a maximum range that is longer than Kenchi's sword, which is 5 feet. However, it is unstable and cannot slash through objects but rather burns them instead, since it lacks a solid form.
Flame Temperament: By grabbing a metallic object, the user is able to reform the object by using heat in order to make the object more flexible. Commonly, a metal rod heated and reformed into a sword, knife, etc. As to how the many times the object can be reformed and expanded into a different type of object is dependent on the object and the skill of the user.
Chameleon Flame: By altering the the flames with the use of light and controlling the flames around the user, the user may be able to mask into the environment, using the flames as camouflage. The user must not move to swiftly while using this move due to the flames nature shift constantly when not under the user's control, as it becomes difficult to control through movement.
Cloak of Embers - Danyl wraps himself in fire and dashes towards his enemies, doing a full-body attack that can break through most barriers. While cloaked in fire, Danyl's speed and defense is drastically increased, however he cannot use any attacks in the midst of it, and it takes a small bit of charging in order for it to be used effectively.
Flare-Snipe: Igniting his finger-tips, the user shoots a small, bullet sized ball by flicks his fingers or blasting fire toward his opponent from his finger tips. This attack is normally long-ranged, often used to attack opponents that are long distance away. Flicking his finger gives more range and power. The hotter the finger is before use, the longer the range. This attack can be used in conjunction with the move fire bomb.
Fire Bomb - Igniting a small patch of the ground, Danyl is able to use it as a sort of mine that will detonate if an enemy goes near it or if the user wants to blow it up immediately. Its power is directly related to the type of material used, with more flammable materials having a higher explosion damage and radius then ones that aren't so flammable. The flame is visible by the opponents, so it is best used to fast situations where enemies will not be able to notice it in time.
Trail-Blazer: By shooting fire from his palm, the user is able to link several opponents/objects with the fire and is able to surf on the flames towards the object his fire has made contact with at daunting speeds. This is sort of a "connect the dots" move allowing the user to ricochet back and forth, enabling him to take down multiple enemies at once, or surprise his enemies from the air.
Dragon Ring - A "Lost Mind Set Ability" just like Kenichi's Northern Wind, whose power is both respected and feared. A circle of fire appears around Danyl and his enemies, trapping them inside. While inside this ring, Danyl's power is substantially increased, while his enemies either suffer from the high temperatures or burn in the process. Since its energy costs are quite high, Danyl will only use it when he is sure that his enemies will be trapped within it, otherwise it is completely useless if his enemies are not inside of it.
Phoenix Wings - A forbidden attack that happens to be Danyl's most powerful move, capable of reducing any solid structure to ashes within mere seconds. Phoenix Wings is both rare and legendary for its judgmental power, as it will only hurt the user's enemies, not his friends. Thus, it can be used without fear of harming allies, however the toll it takes on one's own mind and body is great. As Danyl's fire slowly becomes blue, a blast of hot air surrounds him, knocking everyone around him away. Summoning the power of what appears to be a large phoenix, Danyl can send pillars of fire towards his enemies or channel the spirit himself, turning into a phoenix for a short while to destroy those around him. However, the attack becomes much harder to control the longer Danyl uses it, therefore he swears never to use it unless he really needs to.

Kenichi can be a vital member of a party,or more often a leader of one. However, he prefers to "let things play out" most of the time." Despite being cold at times,it is majorly toward someone he does not like. He also holds a strong loyalty to those he considers his friends but can be described cruel by his enemies.(The vast majority of the time he freezes them solid.) He is far from a pacifist, often excepting fights when he feels like it, or under absolute necessity. He has a friendship with Danyl, often at times teaming up with him.
He employs his element through multiple uses from the offensive way of shooting directly from his palms, using the environment around him,forming weapons and shields, or even to the point of using the air to his advantage by decreasing the temperature,to power his ice attacks. He ice he emits in battle can be colored red at times,reflecting his mood when he is angry.
Apparance: Kenichi sports a Gray hoodie,black shirt with the red outlining of a dragon, reddish black pants with a hint of crimson outlining, that his complemented by his black-grayish shoes.

The size and strength of the shield can be changed at will, however, the stronger or larger duration attacks Kenichi has to block, the faster his energy will deplete. Frozen Shield can even block fire, however it consumes energy at a large rate if it does so. It can also be broken to release shards of ice at the foes, countering melee attacks in the process.
Frozen Blade - Kenichi makes a 3ft sword made entirely out of ice and uses it to launch devastating melee attacks. The ice is black ice, meaning its entirely see-through and resembles an sharp icicle with sharp blade-like edges. Kenichi can choose what length he wants to sword to be, but the blade cant usually go beyond 4 feet in length.
Freeze Storm - A furry of jagged icicles and shards of ice are generated above Kenichi's head and hurled toward his foe. The shards shatter upon impact, yet they have the ability to crack rock and are hard to dodge. This attack, however, requires Kenichi to charge for a few seconds, leaving him vulnerable in the process.
Cold Wave - A jagged line of ice is created through Kenichi's foe, freezing the opponent upon contact. Due to its quick reload time and low cost of energy, Kenichi is able to use it multiple times in a row, sometimes creating 3 concentric rings instead of lines of ice to freeze anyone within 5 feet of him.
Ice Sphere - A clear ball of ice is formed between both of Kenichi's hands, which Kenichi can launch toward his opponent at incredible speeds. The ice is condensed enough to not break upon impact, and it can even bounce off a few times before landing on the ground. Kenichi can also activate Frost Burst on it to devastate a group of enemies from afar.
Frost Burst - A miniature explosion of icicles cuts through those around the immediate vicinity. The move is usually performed right after Ice Sphere, as it turns Ice Sphere into a sort of grenade. However, Kenichi can also turn his fists ice hard and initiate Frost Burst when he punches a target. The attack may damage Kenichi in such a situation.
Frigid Armor: This Move is Kenichi's last line of defense. By temporally making parts of his body into hard ice, he can effectively block melee attacks, while also being able to deal highly damaging physical attacks. He can use this move in conjunction with the move Frigid Contact making it a dangerous combination. He can even heal himself by turning any surrounding water into ice and adding it to his body.
Frigid Contact - This move is one of Kenichi's more dangerous moves, as he only uses it in certain circumstances. It can not only freeze almost anything that Kenichi touches (excluding fire or another extreme source of heat) but can drain the life energy of those it freezes over time. Kenichi is hesitant on using the move, mostly because of its potentially fatal nature, however he does use it when situations prove too grim.
Snow Dance - One of Kenichi's more flashy and less powerful moves, mostly used to distract his enemies or throw them off balance. It summons a whirlwind of snowflakes around the user, which are made of solid ice that can deliver small cuts to enemies. The large amount of snow that is in the air can blind opponents or act as a sort of smokescreen to allow for escapes when necessary.
Northern Wind - Known by many as one of the "Lost Mind Set Abilities", it is revered for its power to stop hordes of enemies without even killing them. Taking in a large breath of air. Since nobody knows how powerful the move is or how its even used, little information is given other then how devastating it might be. Kenichi can also activate Frost Burst on it to devastate a group of enemies from afar.
Frost Burst - A miniature explosion of icicles cuts through those around the immediate vicinity. The move is usually performed right after Ice Sphere, as it turns Ice Sphere into a sort of grenade. However, Kenichi can also turn his fists ice hard and initiate Frost Burst when he punches a target. The attack may damage Kenichi in such a situation.
Frigid Armor: This Move is Kenichi's last line of defense. By temporally making parts of his body into hard ice, he can effectively block melee attacks, while also being able to deal highly damaging physical attacks. He can use this move in conjunction with the move Frigid Contact making it a dangerous combination. He can even heal himself by turning any surrounding water into ice and adding it to his body.
Frigid Contact - This move is one of Kenichi's more dangerous moves, as he only uses it in certain circumstances. It can not only freeze almost anything that Kenichi touches (excluding fire or another extreme source of heat) but can drain the life energy of those it freezes over time. Kenichi is hesitant on using the move, mostly because of its potentially fatal nature, however he does use it when situations prove too grim.
Snow Dance - One of Kenichi's more flashy and less powerful moves, mostly used to distract his enemies or throw them off balance. It summons a whirlwind of snowflakes around the user, which are made of solid ice that can deliver small cuts to enemies. The large amount of snow that is in the air can blind opponents or act as a sort of smokescreen to allow for escapes when necessary.
Northern Wind - Known by many as one of the "Lost Mind Set Abilities", it is revered for its power to stop hordes of enemies without even killing them. Taking in a large breath of air. Kenichi puts both of his hands towards his mouth and blows through them, creating a stream of ice cold air that can freeze individuals as well as the environment around them. It can be used a limited number of times due to the energy toll it takes, and can even create small blizzards within confined spaces.
Absolute Zero - Kenichi's most powerful attack. Considered to be forbidden by many, it can stop the movement of matter itself within a blink of an eye, creating an ice that is completely resistant to melting for as long as Kenchi's power can maintain it. It is also known as the "Death Ice", as anyone caught within its range will die immediately. Since nobody knows how powerful the move is or how its even used, little information is given other then how devastating it might be. Kenichi has sworn never to use the attack unless there is no other possible way, and even then, he shudders at the thought of unleashing it, since it could very well turn its user into ice for all eternity.
